Pablo advises on competition law, foreign investment control, and healthcare regulation. He has extensive experience in merger control, sanctioning proceedings before the Spanish competition authority (CNMC), administrative litigation, and compliance programs. He has particular expertise in the healthcare, telecommunications, insurance, banking, and retail consumer goods sectors. Pablo has been recognized as a Next Generation Partner by The Legal 500. Pablo has an extensive client portfolio that includes foreign law firms, national operators in the social and healthcare sector, pharmaceutical companies, the Spanish subsidiary of a major multinational active in the gas market, and one of the leading copyright management entities in Spain.
Pablo has recently been recognized as a ‘Next Generation Partner’ by the Legal 500 directory. He occasionally teaches postgraduate programs at various institutions, including Carlos III University in Madrid, and is a member of the Board of Directors of the AEDC. Before co-founding rēgula, Pablo was Of Counsel in the Competition Law team at one of the country's leading law firms.
Education
Law and Business Administration degree from Universidad de Valladolid. Postgraduate studies at the College of Europe (Master of Arts in European Interdisciplinary Studies) and at Université de Liège (LLM in EU Competition and IP Law).
