Experience
Carmen is part of rēgula’s public law team, advising public entities and private companies on administrative law matters. She is involved in the preparation and defence of proceedings before administrative bodies and the administrative courts.
She also assists with matters relating to public sector procurement, compulsory expropriation, state liability, subsidies and public aid, sanctioning proceedings and the legal regime of public assets. In addition, she works on issues concerning regulated sectors such as energy, transport and waste management.
Before joining rēgula, Carmen completed an internship with the public law and regulatory team of one of Spain’s leading law firms.
Education
Law degree from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and Law degree with honours (Cum Laude) in European Law from Maastricht University. She also completed the Master’s in Access to the Legal Profession at IE University.
