Experience
Noelia carries out her professional activity within the firm’s regulatory compliance department. She is involved in internal investigations and in advising companies on compliance-related matters, including the design and implementation of internal policies and prevention protocols.
She is also a member of the team responsible for auditing compliance programmes implemented by third parties within various organisations, identifying shortcomings and proposing potential improvements in risk-mitigation measures.
Furthermore, she is entrusted with delivering comprehensive training sessions tailored to specific regulatory frameworks for teams across multiple companies. She also contributes to the development of compliance programmes adapted to the diffferent regulated sectors.
Before joining the firm, Noelia completed an internship in the corporate and commercial law department of a Madrid-based law firm, where she assisted on mergers and acquisitions (M&A) transactions.
Education
Degree in Law and Criminology from Universidad Rey Juan Carlos de Madrid, where she graduated top of her class and received the Extraordinary Award for Academic Excellence. She recently completed the Master’s in Access to the Legal Profession at Universidad Rey Juan Carlos de Madrid and obtained the Specialist Diploma in Competition Law from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid.
She has also pursued postgraduate studies in compliance, internal investigations, and forensic practice at the School of Legal Practice of Universidad Complutense de Madrid.
