Experience
Pablo advises on competition law, foreign investment control and health regulation. In particular, Pablo has extensive experience of merger control, sanctioning proceedings involving the Spanish competition authority (the CNMC), judicial review actions and compliance programmes. He has experience in the healthcare, telecommunications, banking and consumer goods retail sectors and has been recognised as a rising star by both the Legal 500 directory and the legal journal Iberian Lawyer. He occasionally teaches on postgraduate programmes at various institutions, including the Carlos III University, Madrid. Prior to founding rēgula, Pablo was of counsel in the competition law team of one of the country's leading law firms.
Academic background
Graduate in Law and Business Administration and Management from the University of Valladolid, Pablo completed postgraduate studies at the College of Europe (Master of Arts in European Interdisciplinary Studies) and at the University of Liège (LLM in EU Competition and IP Law).
