Experience
Miguel advises on competition law. In particular, Miguel is involved in the defence of several clients in infringement proceedings before the Spanish Competition Authority (the CNMC) and other regional competition authorities, judicial review actions, as well as in the design, implementation and execution of compliance programmes and the performance of internal antitrust audits. Furthermore, he regularly advises clients on FDI and merger control. Before joining rēgula, Miguel was a trainee in the competition law team of one of the leading Dutch law firms.
Academic background
Graduate in Law and Political Science and Public Administration from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, Miguel completed postgraduate studies at the Universiteit van Amsterdam (LLM in European Competition Law and Regulation), as well as studies in Political Economy and Public Administration at the University of Korea.
